About Us

At Ultra Small Fibers (USF), we are a team of PhD materials scientists and cell biologists with decades of experience in researching, inventing, and commercializing cutting-edge technologies. Our innovations have collectively generated sales in the hundreds of millions of dollars.

Founded in 2013, USF was established to bring our advanced nanofilm platform to market. Over the years, we have developed low-cost production methods and the ability to customize our nanofilms to meet the specific needs of our commercialization partners.

Today, we are laser focused on revolutionizing 3D cell culture with our nanofilm technology. Our nanofilm cell culture well plates and imaging dishes are just the beginning. These products provide a tunable and reproducible biomimetic environment that supports cellular growth and behavior, offering a new tool for researchers and QC professionals in fields such as cell biology, drug discovery and development, and regenerative medicine.

We are committed to continuously customizing our nanofilm scaffolds and form factors to meet evolving customer and market needs. Through disciplined innovation and close collaboration with our user community, we will enable reproducible and biologically relevant performance to advance 3D cell culture and support new insights and therapies in cellular biology.
